What impact has EDA had on you?
EDA has taught me how to push myself to be the best I can be for myself and those around me. EDA has taught me what it looks like to laugh and have a lot of fun in the midst of the biggest learning experience of my life.
What has been the biggest lesson you have learned?
EDA has taught me that you can learn anything if you put your mind to it. Also, that coding is just a tool, solving problems is the real lesson EDA teaches you.
What is your favorite memory from EDA?
There are way too many! From Blain getting us wired off of $4.99 per pound Cuban coffee, to Zeke telling himself to stop looking at pictures of ravioli.
On a broader note, our cohorts fondness for the motion picture film Shrek always makes me smile. Also, connecting with the EP staff. They are so welcoming and willing to connect and have fun in the office! There were so many great moments it’s hard to capture all of them.
If you were to give advice to someone considering applying to EDA, what would you say?
Do it. I regret not doing it sooner. You will not regret it!
What advice do you have for the next cohort?
Soak in those moments when you find yourself thinking “hmm, I don’t know what is going on right now at all!” Because that is where learning starts, and that is why you are here! After that, ask lots of questions. Come from curiosity. Don’t go in thinking you’ll never figure it out. Come curious and ready to learn and ask questions.
