Emerging Digital Academy provides events and workshops for the community to learn technology skills and connect technologists.
We host a variety of workshops and technical talks for all skill levels.
These events allow individuals to challenge themselves and learn technical skills at their own pace - which creates a more robust technology industry right here in our region.

Prairie Den
Join us for an exciting in-person coding workshop at the Prairie Den! This hands-on event is designed for beginners who are eager to dive into the world of programming. Python is a versatile and beginner-friendly programming language widely used for web development, data analysis, artificial intelligence, and more.
This course also provides an excellent base to complete an application for Emerging Digital Academy, North Dakota's first (and only) immersive software engineering bootcamp. If you can complete this workshop, you can complete the application. Find out more information here!

Love technology, professional development, and connecting with likeminded people? Join us at our Monthly Meetup, Coffee + Coding!
Coffee + Coding brings EDA alumni, students, and those interested in technology together to learn about professional development and provides an opportunity for alumni to speak about problems or projects that they are working through. This monthly event will take place Thursday from 8-9 AM at the Prairie Den.
Schedule:
- 8:00-8:10 – Coffee and Sandy’s Donuts
- 8:10-8:15 – Introduction to speaker, explain agenda
- 8:15-8:30 – Presentation on topic
- 8:30-8:45 – Q&A
- 8:45-9:00 – Social time
