What impact has EDA had on you?
EDA has had a profound impact on my personal and professional development, particularly as a developer. A few months ago, I lacked the necessary skills to develop a fully functional application. However, with the help of EDA, I have been able to acquire the technical knowledge required to achieve this feat, which still amazes me to this day.
In addition to enhancing my technical abilities, EDA has also contributed to my personal growth by improving my soft skills. Through the program, I have had the opportunity to connect with the local tech community, and this has enabled me to build valuable relationships and gain a better understanding of the industry.
Overall, EDA has been a game-changer for me, providing me with the resources, tools, and connections necessary to succeed in my career. I am grateful for the opportunities afforded to me through the program, and I am excited to see where my newfound skills and knowledge will take me in the future.
What has been the biggest lesson you have learned?
I have learned that teamwork and communication are key.
What has been your favorite memory from EDA?
My favorite memory from EDA was spending time with my cohort members and previous alumni at 1 Million Thanks.
If you were to give advice to someone considering applying to EDA, what would you say?
To take beginner courses on Codecademy or freecodecamp to see if this something you want to do.
What advice do you have for the next cohort?
Practice prior to joining EDA. You’ll know if this is something you actually want to pursue, and it will make your time here easier.
