What impact has EDA had on you?
EDA has helped me grow professionally, but also as a human being. As someone who was new in the USA, the EDA environment fastened my immersion and my adaptation in the Fargo Tech community. The Instructors and the other staff members made my path to becoming a software engineer the most agreeable path possible. I am definitely a better professional after my experience at EDA.
What has been the biggest lesson you have learned?
Attention to details is something that was emphasized in our learning environment at EDA and that’s a skill that was definitely sharpened by the bridge I took at EDA. Now I see things that weren’t that obvious before and it makes my coding skills more valuable.
What has been your favorite memory from EDA?
Some of my favorite memories are from when my classmates and I attended events like Startup Brew together. We would enjoy coffee, laugh, talk, and meet new people.
If you were to give advice to someone considering applying to EDA, what would you say?
I would tell them that I haven’t seen a better bridge to become a software developer in North Dakota and that EDA will help them grow professionally and even allow them to be versatile in their coding journey.
What advice do you have for the next cohort?
Time management is your best ally. Give it everything from the beginning, don’t miss any assignments and repeat them if you can.
