What impact has EDA had on you?
Emerging Digital Academy has allowed me to not only grow professionally but it also allowed me to discover the enjoyment a career in software engineering can bring.
What has been the biggest lesson you have learned?
I have learned the importance of practice in soft skills, networking, public speaking, etc.
What has been your favorite memory from EDA?
My favorite memory from EDA was the humor and inside jokes of our cohort. It is a great group of people that made the, sometimes brutal, learning process so much easier and worth it.
If you were to give advice to someone considering applying to EDA, what would you say?
Don’t get discouraged easily, put in the extra time, and don’t be afraid to ask for help.
What advice do you have for the next cohort?
Don’t get reliant on Chat GPT. It is a powerful tool, for sure, but if you aren’t careful you will just become its tool instead.
